Oh so very yummy. If you are going to have a treat, might as well make it healthier without compromising the flavor and texture! Minimal ingrediants, these recies are MY PERSONAL RECIPES. They are easy to make and SUPER FUN!

WHO WANTS TO HAVE MORE FUN!?! ?‍♀️

I sweeten one with local raw honey. The other maple syrup. Two natural sweeteners with antioxidants, minerals and added health benefits. The nuts in the recipe are filled with protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, anti inflammatory, great for the whole body!

Double Strawberry Swirl

3 cups Local Strawberry ( the little ones in season, NOT THE HUGE MASS PRODUCED ONES), cut in half

2/3 cups Maple Syrup

1 tsp lemon zest

1 Tbl fresh squeezed lemon juice

1/4 tsp sea salt

1 tsp Vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups Vegan Yogurt, unsweeteened. (I like Kite Hill Original).

Directions-

  1. Place everything but the vanilla and yogurt in a sauce pan. Simmer for 10-12 minutes on medium heat. Cool in the fridge for 15 minutes
  2. Add the berry mix to a Vitamix (or high speed blender), puree until smooth. Reserve 1/2 cup for later in fridge.
  3. Add the yogurt and vanilla to the remaining berry mixture in the blender. Blend about 20 seconds until smooth.
  4. Place in fridge for about 30 minutes until cold to the touch. Spin on Vitamix for 5 seconds before spinning in your ice cream machine. Spin about 15 minutes until it looks like soft serve.
  5. Swirl the reserved Strawberry mixture then place in Freezer for about 30 minutes. It will be soft for about 5-6 hours. If frozen, let thaw or about 10-15 minutes before serving!
  6. Enjoy! ?

Pistachio Gelato

1/2 cup Pistachio PLUS 1/4 cup Pistachios, chopped (Do it yourself. The ones pre-shelled lose their flavor- Turn on the tunes and get a buddy to help)

1.2 cup plus 1-2 Tbl Raw Local Honey OR Verified checked Honey (Sweetness varies. You want it a little too sweet before it freezes, adjust accordingly)

1/4 tsp sea salt

1 tsp Vanilla

2 cups Milkadamia Creamer, unsweetened (OR Coconut milk from one can OR your favorite creamer)

Optional- 1/2 tsp almond extract. Some don’t like this flavoring. I LOVE IT!

  2. Place in fridge for about 30 minutes until cold to the touch. Spin on Vitamix for 5 seconds before spinning in your ice cream machine. Spin about 15 minutes until it looks like soft serve.
  3. Add the reserved 1/4 cup of chopped Pistachios then place in Freezer for about 60 minutes. It will be soft for about 5-6 hours. If frozen, let thaw or about 3-5 minutes before serving!
